Hand & Soul Decor

Founded by curator and collector Cathy, Hand & Soul Decor is a beautifully layered collection of antiques, vintage furnishings, artwork, and decorative objects gathered with the belief that the spaces we inhabit should feel as meaningful as they are beautiful. What began as a lifelong love of interiors and storied objects evolved into a second chapter for Cathy after more than 25 years as a Registered Dietitian, when she launched her estate liquidation and consignment company, Settled In Services, in 2020. Through that work, she found herself immersed in homes rich with history — surrounded by pieces that had been thoughtfully chosen, deeply loved, and passed down through generations. That rediscovery of craftsmanship, memory, and design became the foundation for Hand & Soul Decor.

Inspired by years of travel, a passion for historical homes, and an eye trained by both collecting and interior design, Cathy curates pieces that feel timeless, tactile, and quietly soulful. Her collection embraces the imperfect beauty of antiques and vintage décor — furnishings and objects that bring warmth, texture, and a sense of lived history into a home. From European-inspired finds and architectural elements to art, entertaining pieces, and one-of-a-kind curiosities, every piece is selected with the intention of helping spaces feel layered, personal, and deeply collected rather than simply decorated.

The name Hand & Soul itself was born after a memorable antiquing trip to Round Top, Texas, where Cathy returned home with a suitcase filled almost entirely with antique hand sculptures and vintage foot molds — a fitting reflection of her appreciation for objects shaped by hand and infused with character. Today, alongside her thoughtful team, Cathy continues to source pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, history, and the art of living beautifully. Guests of Braderie South can expect an inviting collection that perfectly embodies the spirit of the show: storied interiors, gracious living, and treasures meant to be gathered, used, and loved for generations to come.
