Braderie South Antique Market | Luxury Antique Shopping in Jekyll Island

About Braderie South Antique Market

At the heart of Braderie South Antique Market is a passion for preserving history, celebrating craftsmanship, and bringing together collectors who appreciate timeless design and meaningful stories. Inspired by the centuries-old European “Braderie” tradition originating in France and the Netherlands, our antique market blends the charm of historic street fairs with the elegance and hospitality of the American South.

For generations, braderies have served as gathering places filled with antiques, heirlooms, vintage treasures, fine art, and cultural tradition. Braderie South reimagines that same experience in Coastal Georgia, creating a destination for antique shopping unlike a traditional antique mall or flea market.

Beauty, history and the leisure of discovery.

The idea for Braderie has lived in me for quite some time—perhaps long before I had the words or the confidence to bring it into the world. I grew up surrounded by art, color, and history. Family trips to the countryside of Virginia and growing up in Lowcountry of South Carolina—through towns steepedBraderie South is a refined antiques and fine art gathering hosted at the Jekyll Island Club Resort — one of America’s most storied and architecturally treasured destinations. Once the winter retreat of American visionaries, the Club was founded upon a belief in beauty, conversation, and the pleasure of time spent well. Braderie South continues this tradition, inviting collectors, designers, historians, and makers to stroll through curated exhibitor salons, enjoy thoughtful conversation, and experience the coastal gentility and leisurely wonder of the Island.

Now entering its second year, the Braderie expands to three days of discovery, with more than 30 distinguished exhibitors, special evening events, and a Saturday Antique Motor Assembly on the Riverfront Lawn. The weekend concludes with The Sunday Salon, a keynote conversation with celebrated designer and television personality Gray Benko, exploring the joy of color, character, and home as story.

Braderie South is an invitation to step into an unhurried world — to find pieces of history, to share ideas among friends, and to carry beauty home
